Last Tuesday we visited the Podhale region, Zakopane to be precise, where a group consisting of Polish, Czech and French people was awaiting us. We had prepared a regional surprise for them, that is, 18 horse-drawn carts with sleighs. All participants carried torches, took their seats in the sleighs and set off! The guests were taken for a ride around the snowy Zakopane by highlanders, with the famous Krupówki street being an obligatory point of the journey. The tourists that watched the sledge were really impressed and took photos. A perfect finale of the ride was to be found on the Gubałówka hillside where the group could expect a highland folk band, a table richly laden with Podhale specialities, bonfire and a bear cub in a special shelter, with a beautiful view at the Tatra mountains on top of that.
