City Game in Prague
Golden City or City of a Hundred Spires are just two of Prague’s numerous nicknames. The Czech capital, famous for its incredible tourist attractions, savory cuisine and delicious beer, was the destination of the corporate outing prepared at the request of iDream Business Travel. The first stop on the great Czech adventure was the stunning Rock City (Hruba Skala) with its spectacular geological formations. Another point on the agenda was a medieval-themed banquet held at one of Prague’s restaurants. The next day we began with a tour of the main sights in Prague: the Castle, Golden Lane, Saint Vitus Cathedral, the Charles Bridge, and many others. During lunch at a traditional Czech inn our guests were surprised by none other than the Good Soldier Schweik (protagonist of Jaroslav Hašek's satirical anti-war novel, who has become a Czech national symbol) who invited them to participate in a city game. The contenders’ task was to solve a series of riddles, find locations marked on maps, and complete missions given by game animators, who showed up in the costumes of Charles IV or Franz Kafka. The day reached its finale at a dinner cruise on the Vltava.
